My picnic story

On Friday room 14 where so excited because we wanted to get muddy and squishy. Then we went.Thinking about the range of activities we would be able to do.

Walking cautiously down the mountain I took a wrong step and slid down the mountain and dropped on the drop . Finally came the time when I was on the beach I stared at the beach and then turned my head I saw people holding big huge balls of clay as I manuvuored over the gooey rocks. I grabbed a hand full of gluey clay I carved a ball.

Finally we packed up and started to walk back to school .I felt splendid .

Ready To Meet My Teacher

Greetings! It’s the 22nd of February 2011. It’s a very special day because my parents and whanau are going to meet my teacher. My teacher is Ms Squires. I’m very excited about all the neat things we’re going to this . Watch this space! 2011 here we come!

When Room 14 Got Their Net books

Last Friday Room fourteen got their net books. I was getting very furious because I thought we were going to open it straight away. But no, we had to listen to a big boring conversation first. Then came the time when Room fourteen opened their net books. We smashed the button and it turned on. The net book gave me a fright because it made a sound. We played on it all day long.

The Fishing Trip

Guess where I went in the holidays? My family and I went to Pukenui. When we got there, my best friend Potiki and I were begging to go fishing.

We begged and begged to go fishing so finally my dad said 'Yes'. We dashed to the door and grabbed our fishing rods and sprinted to the wharf, wondering if we were going to catch a fish or not.

When we got there we got heaps of bites and then we thought we got snagged, but no we saw a big fat Kahuwai waiting to be eaten by me and my best friend.

We reeled it in and ate it for dinner.
