Monday Mornings

I am learning to write an introduction that hooks in my audience. Here are 3 versions. Which Monday morning do you like best and why?

1. "Really, another Monday morning! Did you know I need about nine to ten hours of sleep each night? So be quiet alarm" I think as I hit the snooze button. "Beep Beep" it goes again. "Fine, I'll get up this time." Entering the living room every one just stopped and stared. I hate Monday mornings

2. “Beep beep beep” went the alarm. I woke  up and put on my uniform. With my eyes still half closed I went down stairs and started munching on my weet-bix. I don't like Monday mornings

3. "Oh my gosh, could you be any louder?" I thought about my alarm. Literally still half asleep I went down stairs. Trying to aim into the bowl, I poured  my cereal and completely missed it. Oh man, another Monday morning.

Ratapus Revenge

I have been reading the journal story Ruatapu’s Revenge retold by Hone Taumaunu. In the end Ruatapu turns into a taniwha, and Piakea rides on a whale to find a new land - Aotearoa.

How To Find Legle Images

1.Go into google images and type in your key word(eg.apes)
2.Look in the top right corner and press the options icon.On there you will see something that says advanced image search.
3.Press the circle that says only images labllled for reuse then press search images.
4.Now you can use any of those images.

The Holiday

“Bring your boxes down” I ran down stairs and put my boxes in the garage. “Can you help me I need to pack the car” “why” I replied “because were moving”” OOOOHHH thats right”.

“Dad when is the truck going to get here” “I dont know” he replied as the truck came up the drive I shouted “dad the truck is here”. Finally they got out of the truck and got straight to work. I wached them chuck the couches of the deck to the other people on the truck.When they got about half way another truck came and three more men jumped out to come and help.

They drove to my new house and unloaded the truck, I felt so exhausted I jumped on the couch and watched TV.

New Class And New Teachers

This morning it was the start of a new term I now have a new teacher called ms Garden and we also have another teacher called Ms Thompson. I still have half of my old class in room 17 so not everything is new.
