Space Nuts At Lightspeed

I have been reading a story set in the future called Space Nuts Light Speed by Simon Cooke. Just like in this story, I have written a historical file about an object we use on earth, that someone could read about in the future.I am making a historical file about DVD players because I think that they will make something bigger and better.DVD players are things that look like a rectangle and reads a thing called a disc.I think that in the future they will just put movies onto tiny little tablet type things and put them into a big screen and the movie will play.

Best Camp Ever !!!!!

Year 5 and six camp was the bomb ! There were millions of activities and you would never be bored .What makes it even better was that I was a leader.


My favourite activity was top teams challenge, not only because we won, I was one of the people who helped others who kind of struggled.That's what made it so fun.


One incident that was really hilarious, was when we were out kayaking. Some people without doubt, did not know how to do this. There were monstrous crashes and some people even managed to tip their kayak over ,and I don’t think that Mr Burt was very impressed about it.



My goal for the year five and six camp was to be a really good leader and come up with a fantastic dance.So I really worked hard on that and I think I achieved that goal.I thought that I was a good team leader and I recon that our dance was awesome because everyone was cheering for us.


Now that camp is over I am so bored.I am really looking forward to going to Kawau Island at the end of the year.

Camp

Only two more sleeps till our year five and six camp ,I am soooo exited.



I am mainly looking forward to the top team challenge. Ms Garden has given us a sneak peak of what its going to be like.



I am a little bit anxious about tripping over the tent ropes.Last year I had quite a few problems with that.




My goal is to be one of the best team leaders and come up with the best dance.

Friday

On fridays they are completely different .We have assembly in the morning where we receive awards from the principle and other stuff .We also sing the national anthem.


What is so unusual is we have a different teacher different work and also a little drama.Our different work is art because our teacher Ms Muliaumaseulii  is into art.At the end of the day we are all exhausted from a long week.

Thursday

Thursdays are one of my hard working days. But we also have some fun with net-ball.Net-ball is a sport that we all play with a special coach.

We also change teacher for a different class at 12:30. The teacher is Ms Tele’a its really fun in extension.Extension is where all the top 8 students go to from year 5 and 6.

Wednesday

On Wednesday our class go to cricket with a man called Hamott. This lesson we practiced our bowling .I couldn't throw properly because I am right handed and that hand was broken.

Normally we would go to ICT and music.But this week we didn't go why you ask because there was testing on.So we did some writing I don't really enjoy writing.

Monday

On Monday its the same old route get up 6:40 sharp get into my uniform make lunch brush my teeth and wash my face.I still feel tired and quite angry.But when I jump in the car I don't feel so tired .


Arriving at school I feel very exited to see my friends. One of my favourite things to do is play with them. On a Monday we go to the library and get two books out.

Tuesday

On Tuesday the first thing we did in the morning was do our star test It is one of the easiest tests.I can’t wait until I get the results.The reading test the writing test and the maths test are still to come.

When we came back we played a game called ghost.After we finished playing it was morning tea we ate and then ran off to play. My friends and I played tigi.
