My Origami

Origami Its a Japanese piece of art that you can create with nothing but a piece of paper. On tuesday we made a paper cup.We followed instructions That where so specific that I did it in under a minute. Here are the instructions so you can make your own.     

Rock-Climbing

What did you do in your holidays ? Well I went to my cousins birthday to celebrate 2920 days of his life. He suggested I go Rock-Climbing with two of his friends.

Arriving In the car park we noticed that all the parks were full and that we had to park on the road. I jumped out and stretched and said “YAY” .I trotted towards the huge building that said Rock Climbing, I was looking forward to this.

Entering through these huge doors I was stunned to see  the structures that people climb, and some of them go upside down. I went to the counter, strapped  on my harness and sprinted to the wall. They hooked me up and I was off.


Touching the top of the wall I shouted “hooray” and as slow as a snail I let go and slid back down. Touching the ground I rubbed it in my cousin's face but when he tried he did it just as fast as me.

“Ok its time for dinner” My aunty shouted we raced to the bathroom washed our hands.Guess how many pizzas my uncle ordered ? Eight whole pizzas for nine people that's nearly 1 pizza each.


We packed up and went back home with one pizza each. I hope he invites me to his ninth birthday.

Rock Our World

Space Nuts At Lightspeed

I have been reading a story set in the future called Space Nuts Light Speed by Simon Cooke. Just like in this story, I have written a historical file about an object we use on earth, that someone could read about in the future.I am making a historical file about DVD players because I think that they will make something bigger and better.DVD players are things that look like a rectangle and reads a thing called a disc.I think that in the future they will just put movies onto tiny little tablet type things and put them into a big screen and the movie will play.

Best Camp Ever !!!!!

Year 5 and six camp was the bomb ! There were millions of activities and you would never be bored .What makes it even better was that I was a leader.


My favourite activity was top teams challenge, not only because we won, I was one of the people who helped others who kind of struggled.That's what made it so fun.


One incident that was really hilarious, was when we were out kayaking. Some people without doubt, did not know how to do this. There were monstrous crashes and some people even managed to tip their kayak over ,and I don’t think that Mr Burt was very impressed about it.



My goal for the year five and six camp was to be a really good leader and come up with a fantastic dance.So I really worked hard on that and I think I achieved that goal.I thought that I was a good team leader and I recon that our dance was awesome because everyone was cheering for us.


Now that camp is over I am so bored.I am really looking forward to going to Kawau Island at the end of the year.
